Then and Now - Hyaluronic Acid Fillers and Laser Toning for Dark Eye Circles and Undereye Lines

Readers of my blog will know that I am a strong advocate of using Hyaluronic Acid Fillers to treat the undereye area. Nothing works like fillers to correct the Tear Trough deformity and hence, improve dark eye circles and undereye lines.

Undereye woes are a common problem, affecting men and women alike, of all race and ages. The undereye area is also notoriously difficult to treat, due to the multiple factors causing dark eye circles, and the delicate skin in that area.

My dark eye circles used to cause me a great deal of distress. No matter how much I slept, or how much eye cream I slathered on, I received the same comments everyday - "You look tired. You need more sleep". Unfortunately, dark eye circles are not, as many think, a result of having not enough sleep. No amount of sleep or creams will solve the problem as it is an architectural one.

Again, a picture speaks a thousand words. The picture above was taken 3 years ago, and the one below, today. The change is so dramatic that I myself cannot believe it - it is easy to assume you always looked the way you are, unless you compare pictures from before.

The eye area is difficult to treat, with with a little bit of technology and expertise, it is possible.
